Beer By Transit is published by CWH3 Holdings LLC. The site and apps help you find Seattle-area breweries and the transit that gets you close. This policy describes what the product does today. It is not legal advice.

There are no accounts, passwords, or profiles. We do not ask you to sign in, and we do not sell a membership.

Your visit list is stored on this device (or in this browser). It is not uploaded to our servers. Clearing the list or uninstalling the app removes it from that device.

The app loads a public catalog of breweries, transit lines, and related copy from beerbytransit.com so listings can stay current. A bundled snapshot is used if the network is unavailable.

If analytics is configured, we use PostHog to understand which screens people open, which breweries and transit lines they look at, and whether they add or remove rooms from a visit list. We turn off automatic touch capture. We do this to improve the guide, not to build advertising profiles.

Map tiles come from OpenFreeMap. The iOS map can use your device location while the app is open to show where you are relative to breweries and transit; we do not store that location. Transit directions open in Google Maps, which may use your location. Brewery websites, phone numbers, and addresses are provided by those businesses. Those services have their own privacy practices.

On iOS we use Google AdMob when an ad unit is configured. AdMob does not run on the web; the website uses Google ads instead. Google may use cookies or device identifiers, including for personalized ads, subject to your Google settings. We do not sell our own ad placements.
